Maintenance and Cleaning

For regular use, external cleaning (screen, keyboard, casing) every 1 to 2 months is advised. More thorough internal cleaning (dust on fans and components) can be done every 6 to 12 months, depending on the usage environment.

Use protective covers for your devices when they are not in use, especially during windy or sandy periods. Avoid placing your equipment near open windows and regularly clean surrounding surfaces. A powerful handheld vacuum with suitable attachments can help dislodge accumulated dust.

Unusual noise (clicking, grinding) can indicate an imminent problem. Immediately back up all your important data to another medium. Try connecting the hard drive to another USB port or another computer. If the noise persists, the hard drive is likely defective and needs to be replaced.

Avoid full discharge and charge cycles. It's better to keep the battery between 20% and 80%. Also, avoid leaving your device charging all night once it's at 100%. Limit the use of maximum screen brightness and disable unused connections (Bluetooth, GPS).

Restart your computer. Check that the screen connection cable is securely plugged in on both ends. If the problem persists, try another cable or connect the screen to another device to determine if the problem is with the screen or the graphics card. If you have a dedicated graphics card, ensure its drivers are up to date.

Ensure your computer's vents are not obstructed. Use your computer on a flat, hard surface, not on a bed or cushion. Regularly clean dust from the fans. If the problem persists, a cooling pad for your laptop can be an effective solution.
