An indoor antenna is compact and placed inside your home, ideal if your dwelling is close to a DTT transmitter. An outdoor antenna is more robust and generally more performant, recommended if you are further away from transmitters or if you experience interference. For Morocco, it is important to check the DTT coverage in your region.

The choice depends on your location (proximity to DTT transmitters), the type of reception desired (indoor or outdoor), and the presence of obstacles (buildings, terrain). Most modern televisions are equipped with an integrated DTT decoder (DVB-T/T2). If your television is older, you will need an external DTT decoder compatible with the standards used in Morocco to receive digital terrestrial television.

For an outdoor antenna, choose a high and clear location, oriented towards the nearest DTT transmitter. For an indoor antenna, try different positions near a window facing the transmitter. Fine-tuning the orientation is often key to picking up all channels.

First, check that your antenna is correctly connected and oriented. Try repositioning it slightly. Make sure your DTT decoder is properly configured and that a channel scan has been performed. If the problem persists, your antenna may not be performant enough for your area, or a signal amplifier may be necessary.

Depending on your installation, you may need a coaxial cable to connect the antenna to the TV or decoder, a signal amplifier if reception is weak, a splitter if you want to connect multiple televisions, or a mast and fixings for an outdoor antenna.
